Experienced Alabama Workers' Compensation, Social Security and Personal Injury
Attorney
I was born in Lee County where my parents were attending Auburn University. Later my family moved to Anniston where I did most of my growing up. I graduated from Anniston High School, then received both my undergraduate and law degrees from the University Of Alabama. In 1978, my wife Lynn (Garfrerick) and I returned to Anniston, began raising our family and I opened my law practice. For the past 30 years, I have focused on helping folks with Workers' Compensation, Social Security, and Personal Injury problems.
I am very involved in our community having served as a member and past president of both the Anniston Morning Kiwanis Club and Anniston Morning Rotary Club as well as having served on numerous local boards and charities including The United Way, American Heart Association, Crimestoppers and Habitat for Humanity. I serve as a Deacon and Sunday School teacher at Parker Memorial Baptist Church in Anniston.
I have practiced before the Alabama Court of Civil Appeals, the Alabama Supreme Court, the Federal Courts in this Circuit (Northern District of Alabama and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Civil Appeals) and I belong to a number of professional and bar associations including:
- Alabama State Bar (Workers' Compensation Section member; numerous presentations at ABICLE seminars on Workers' Compensation)
- Alabama Trial Lawyers Association
- American Trial Lawyers Association
- Calhoun County Bar Association
- National Organization Of Social Security Claimants' Representatives (NOSSCR)
I would like the opportunity to help you successfully resolve your Workers' Compensation, Social Security or Personal Injury claim. Contact me today to talk or schedule a free consultation.
